OBITUARY – Gurmit Kaur Bhullar

Gurmit Kaur Bhullar, the matriarch of the great Bhullar wrestling clan including son Avtar Singh Bhullar and grandsons Arjan Singh Bhullar and Jagroop Singh Bhullar, passed away at the age of 97. Married to the late Sardar Pritam Singh Bhullar, she was a caring and loving mother who enjoyed much happiness in her life. Born in her native village of Talwandi Madho, she had been living in Canada with her extended family since 1971.

Funeral services for the deceased, who was affectionately called Bibi, will be held Tuesday, February 2nd at Five Rivers Funeral home. Unfortunately because of the pandemic it will be closed to the public and even most of the Bhullar family.
