Friday Early Morning Shooting Leaves One Man Seriously Injured

Surrey RCMP is investigating a shooting in the Indo-Canadian dominated Newton area and one man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. On July 5 at approximately 5:30 am, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot near the 7300 block of 122 Street. Police did not name the victim.

SURREY - Surrey RCMP is investigating a shooting in the Indo-Canadian dominated Newton area and one man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
On July 5 at approximately 5:30 am, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot near the 7300 block of 122 Street. Police did not name the victim.
The Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit has conduct of the investigation, and investigators are working to determine all of the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Evidence-gathering is still underway, but initial indications are this was a targeted, isolated incident.
