VANCOUVER – Dilawri Group of Companies (Dilawri), Canada’s largest automotive group, hosted the inaugural Ride & Drive Gala, which is took place on June 22 at Audi Downtown Vancouver.

The Ride & Drive Gala has been created to raise awareness and donations for the BC Cancer Foundation. 100 per cent of the proceeds raised, including ticket sales, donations, and auction items from the Ride & Drive Gala will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation. Ride & Drive Gala tickets are $40, and can be purchased online.

Fiona Forbes, Editor and Chief of Vancouver Luxury Living Magazine, will be the MC for the Ride & Drive Gala. Dr. Janessa Laskin, Medical Oncologist and senior scientist with the BC Cancer Agency, will be the guest speaker for the event. Dr. Laskin is also the co-founder of the clinical trial called Personalized OncoGenomics (POG), which is the subject of a new documentary called ‘Cracking Cancer’ on The Nature of Things. Nikola Girke, who has represented Canada in three different events at four Olympic games, is an ambassador for the inaugural event, and will also be in attendance.
