Gurnam Cheema, described as a 86 year old south Asian male, 5’6”, heavy build, with short white trimmed beard and brown eyes, was found dead after being reported missing this week. But police said foul play is not suspected. He was last seen wearing light blue turban, grey Indian outfit, black and grey jacket, brown leather shoes and carrying a yellow plastic grocery bag. Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being.

SURREY - Surrey RCMP said Thursday that high risk missing elderly Indo-Canadian has been found dead.But police said foul play is not suspected in the case.

Gurnam Cheema was last seen at 9:15 am on Monday, March 16 in the 9700 block of 131a Street in Surrey. He had not been seen or heard from since.

Cheema is described as a 86 year old south Asian male, 5’6”, heavy build, with short white trimmed beard and brown eyes. (Please see attached photo). Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being.

It is out of character for Cheema to be out of touch this long. Cheema suffers from a medical condition requiring medication. Cheema is known to frequent Surrey Central mall and Guildford mall areas. Cheema uses buses and sky trains for travels.
