Another Surrey Shooting Sends One Person To Hospital

Another shooting in Surrey leads to one man getting injured and sent to hospital with police looking for a South Asian suspect. Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigated a shooting at Bear Creek Park that sent one man to hospital shortly after 9:00 pm on September 13. The suspect is described as a South Asian adult man with a short beard wearing a black turban and dark-coloured clothing. He fled the scene driving a grey-coloured sedan.

SURREY – Another shooting in Surrey leads to one man getting injured and sent to hospital with police looking for a South Asian suspect.
Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigated a shooting at Bear Creek Park that sent one man to hospital shortly after 9:00 pm on September 13.
At 9:08 pm on September 13, SPS Frontline officers responded to a call at the parking lot of Bear Creek Park, located at 88 Avenue and 138A Street that a man had been shot following an altercation between two groups of people. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and the victim, who was driven to a hospital by friends, suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a South Asian adult man with a short beard wearing a black turban and dark-coloured clothing. He fled the scene driving a grey-coloured sedan.
SPS’s Frontline Investigative Support (FLIS) Team has taken over the investigation.
