SURREY – Despite all the noise, there is zero voter fraud that actually took place in Surrey despite attempts by some miscreants or shady Group to taint the voting process in the city’s elections which take place next Saturday, Oct. 20.

The election commissioner said that no ballots were sent out when people began phoning to get ballots. They got suspicious and stopped the mail out immediately.

Usually mail in ballots are reserved for the elderly and handicapped who are signed on to get them but in this case – somebody came up with an idiotic scheme to have people from the South Asian community sign up to get their mail in ballots. The minute the election commission received more than 25 calls asking for mail in ballots – they got suspicious and stopped the process as they knew a scheme was being hatched. T

The commission has the names and numbers of those who signed up to get mail in ballots and RCMP have checked those applications to see if they are legit or why they are asking for mail in ballot.

Those findings the RCMP made public Friday in a second update as investigation continues, saying they have examined 73 applications to vote by mail in the civic election.

The investigation revealed that out of the 73, 67 of these applications were fraudulent, in that they were not completed or signed by the voter listed on the application. Two of these applications requested ballots be sent to addresses that were not associated to the named applicant; the other 65 applications listed the applicant’s correct address for delivery of the voting ballot.

But Zero voter fraud actually occurred as no ballots were sent to any individuals or residences based on the fraudulent applications, and to date investigators have not found any evidence to link any candidate or party to the phony applications.

Police confirmed it should be noted that no ballots were sent out to any individuals or residences based on the fraudulent applications. The process to apply for a mail ballot was amended by the Chief Elections Officer on October 1st to preserve the integrity of the election.

“To date, the investigation team has not found any evidence to link any candidate or party to the fraudulent applications,” RCMP said

RCMP investigators have identified and interviewed two persons of interest in this investigation, however further investigation will be required to determine if criminal charges or charges under the Local Government Act are warranted.
