SURREY – A man is wanted by police for allegedly groping the bartender at an Indo-Canadian party in Surrey.
A woman named Laura Michelle posted info on Facebook last week, seeking the identity of the man seen in the video posing with the bartender at a party at the Grand Taj Banquiet Hall.
Michelle wrote: “Were you at the Grand Taj in Surrey on October 14th, 2019 or know somebody that was? A bartender was sexually assaulted, groped 5x by a guest at the party.
“Host family claims not to have a guest list or to know him although he was one of the last people at the party, was talking with many other guests and had a child with him wearing a bright yellow sweatshirt.
“In the first video you can see the man touch the bartenders breast four times and her pulling his hand off her breast and out of her shirt various times. Second video shows him handing his child to the bartender to keep her hands busy for the assault as well as a few other guests they may be recognizable.
“Video is not clear but if we share enough, if anyone that was at the party sees it and respects women and the law they will know who it is and come forward.
“This is not acceptable behaviour. This happens ALL the time especially in the service industry and it needs to stop,” Michelle concluded.
