No matter how many bags of chips I keep on the side, the American presidential election results turn from an exciting show to a drag-on exercise.

Contrary to the expectations, based on most recent polls, it seems gallons of red paint got poured by the Republican voters on the US map. In contrast, the Democrats are left with enough blue colour to fill the patches here and there in the Red territories.

Moreover, whatever is still leftover would be needed by the party to change the landscape to visibly blue once the counting of “millions of millions” of mail-in votes starts pouring in.

And this is where the Trump-promised legal battles would begin on the allegation that most of the mail-in ballots constitute a fraud, subject to challenge in the Supreme Court of America.

It will be a long wait for the Americans to see the White House in Red or Blue.
