CALGARY - The World Sikh Organization of Canada condemned the racist vandalism that took place on the road leading up to the Sikh Society of Calgary Gurdwara early Monday morning.

Unfortunately the Gurdwara’s security footage did not catch the people responsible for this cowardice act. The City of Calgary crews quickly came and cleaned up the graffiti off the street after the Police was called.

This isn't the first time the Gurdwara Sahib was targeted by racist attacks. In 2016 this Gurdwara had swastikas painted on it.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the increasing incidents of hate faced by the Sikh community and other visible, racialized faith communities,” said WSO.
