Woman Found Burnt Alive In Surrey House Fire

A woman was found burned alive in an early morning fire at a Surrey house in the Fleetwood area. On February 24 at 05:20 am, Surrey RCMP received a report of a residential structure fire in the 15100-block of 88th Avenue. Police arrived on scene with the Surrey Fire Department and evacuated the occupants of neighboring residences.

SURREY – A woman was found burned alive in an early morning fire at a Surrey house in the Fleetwood area.
On February 24 at 05:20 am, Surrey RCMP received a report of a residential structure fire in the 15100-block of 88th Avenue. Police arrived on scene with the Surrey Fire Department and evacuated the occupants of neighboring residences.
Surrey Fire Department located an unidentified female in the residence, who did not survive.
Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit (GIU) investigated alongside the Surrey Fire Inspector, and have determined the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
