LOS ANGELES - The wacky film wizard  Wes Anderson’s forthcoming film The French Dispatch is his first first live action film since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

The film’s star studded cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Benicio del Toro, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Owen Wilson - to name a few

The first trailer for Wes Andersn’s The French Dispatch was posted on Twitter this morning. With a quick look at the trailer it is everything you expect in a Wes Anderson classic - pastel-hued colour palettes, distant shots of beautiful buildings and an all star ensemble cast with Anderson’s favourites and new comers.

The French Dispatch is a “ love letter to journalists” as told by Wes Anderson in Searchlight’s official synopsis. The movie is a comedy-drama set in 20th century France and centers around three individuals stories printed by American magazine The French Dispatch, which is Anderson’s fictional onscreen parallel to The New Yorker publication which this movie is loosely inspired by.

Overall, the trailer is quite delightful and a must watch for any Wes Anderson movie fan. The movie is set to be released on July 24.
