Arjun Singh Purewal is wanted for breaching conditions related to his release from custody on a kidnapping charge.  Purewal, along with co-accused Ashley Smith and Michael Husain, plead guilty to kidnapping a victim at gunpoint in Richmond last fall and was scheduled for sentencing next month. VANCOUVER - Vancouver Police are searching for an Indo-Canadian man who poses a public safety risk and is wanted Canada-wide.

Arjun Singh Purewal, 25, is wanted for breaching conditions related to his release from custody on a kidnapping charge. 

Purewal, along with co-accused Ashley Smith and Michael Husain, plead guilty to kidnapping a victim at gunpoint in Richmond last fall and was scheduled for sentencing next month. Vancouver Police is releasing his picture with hopes that someone will recognize him and call 9-1-1.

Purewal is South Asian, about 5’9 and 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Purewal is considered to be dangerous. Anyone who sees Purewal or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
