VANCOUVER – Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a South Asian man who went missing from the downtown core early Saturday morning.
Irshaad Ikbal, 36, was last seen around 2 a.m. Saturday near the Plaza of Nations on Pacific Boulevard. He became separated from friends and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Ikbal is South Asian, 5’8” and 155 pounds, with a medium build. He has short black hair, hazel eyes, and a black beard. He was wearing a white button-down shirt with a pink and blue pattern, light blue and ripped denim jeans, and white high-top Converse shoes.
Ikbal’s disappearance is out of character. His friends and family are concerned for his safety.

Vancouver Police have released an image of Ikbal, taken from a security camera at a convenience store near Smithe and Beatty Street on the night of his disappearance, with hopes that someone will recognize him.
Anyone who was with Ikbal early Saturday morning, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, is asked to call police immediately.
