Paul Dhillon took in Vancouver Fashion Week's closing night Sunday in Vancouver's Chinatown with music star Balvir Boparai, who's never been to our city's twice-a-year fashion extravaganza. The Fashion Week is on 7 days and is a fun event filled with beautiful people, gorgeous models and eager fashion designers who are looking to showcase their latest designs like local designer Taran Cheema, who showcased her designs under her TKC Design Inc.

TKC's new collection, showcased last Tuesday with an opening by Psychic to Bollywood stars Larra Shah, is inspired by Cheema’s upbringing in Vancouver. Influenced by the vivid colors that can be found across this city, TKC’s new collection, “Home,” is a testament of the love the designer has for her city. Finding inspirations from the days where she would swing on yellow swing in the park or climb across royal blue monkey bars. Or, from when she drove for the first time and watched how the colors on a traffic light would change from green to yellow and finally red.
