The Legendary Gulzar Sahab To Enthrall Vancouver With His Artistry On September 15
It’s indeed a proud moment for all Vancouverites and British Columbians that Gulzar Sahab as well as promoter Kamal Sharma of Kamal’s Video Palace, that the only Urdu and Punjabi writer and lyricist to have won an Academy award, Grammy, BAFTA, Sahitya Academy, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke award, Four National awards & 21 Film Fare awards during his illustrious career of 59 years , chose to come to Vancouver for a unique concert!
Film maker and one of the greatest artists India has produced, Sampooran Singh Kalra aka Gulzar Sahab, an acclaimed Urdu poet, author and lyricist, is coming to Vancouver for his only Canadian stop on Sunday , September 15nth during his North American Tour of GULZAR Ek EHSAS for an evening of Poetry, Ghazal & Music at BELL Performing Art Centre , Surrey.

Indeed it would be quite a musical atmosphere where Gulzar Sahab will introduce his favourite songs with poetry and they would be sung by known singers like Hrishikesh Ranade, Swarada Gokhle and Jitendra Abhyankar to the live orchestra.
The evening promises to be a memorable one as this is Gulzar Sahab’s first ever trip to North America and each and everyone present will be carrying home memories to be cherished forever .
