Tejwant Danjou Of Surrey Charged With Woman’s Murder In Kelowna

Tejwant Danjou has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the woman's death. The man and woman were known to each other and were from Surrey, BC.
WEST KELOWNA – An Indo-Canadian man from Surrey has been charged in connection with the death of a woman at a West Kelowna hotel.
Tejwant Danjou, 69, has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the woman's death. The man and woman were known to each other and were from Surrey, BC.
On July 22, 2018, at 7:18 p.m. police attended a hotel located in the 3400 block of Carrington Road in West Kelowna after being notified that a woman may be in need of assistance. Upon attendance, police located a deceased woman in a hotel room.
Dhanjou was arrested a short distance from the hotel and is in police custody.
The Southeast District Major Crime Unit have taken conduct of the investigation and said no further information was available at press time.
