SURREY - Surrey and White Rock's business communities gave generously at the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade's annual Seasonal Sizzle Business Reception on December 4th.
The event raised over $8,000 and 431lbs of food for the Surrey Food Bank, in partnership with The Full Cupboard. More than 600 business professionals attended the festive reception, sponsored by Envision Financial and ThoughtsWin, donating in lieu of admission fees.

"We are deeply grateful to the businesses that joined us for this annual Christmas celebration and demonstrated such remarkable generosity in support of the Surrey Food Bank. Their contributions will help ensure families across Surrey and White Rock have access to essential food support, especially as inflation and the high cost of living continues to place significant pressure on households. The Seasonal Sizzle is a powerful reminder of how our business community consistently steps up to strengthen and support the region we call home," said Joslyn Young, CEO, Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade.
