SURREY – Tensions and violent outbursts came to a boil Lakshmi Narayan Mandir on Sunday with some members of an unruly members turning violent, forcing Surrey RCMP deployed officers to make arrests after a conflict ensued outside the Surrey temple between protesting pro-Khalistan supporters who were protesting against the Indian government officials holding consular camp at the temple following Indian government’s use of criminal syndicate to commit murders of Sikhs, extortions, threats and other crimes.

Surrey RCMP said on November 3 at 2:30 pm, frontline officers were at the Temple to maintain public safety during Consular Camps when hundreds of protestors with opposing views arrived and began demonstrating.

Several police officers were deployed to the area to keep the peace.

Local Sikhs accused the Indian government being behind the large Hindu mobs gathering in Surrey and Brampton and said after murdering Sikhs on Canadian soil and during the remembrance of thousands of Sikhs slaughtered in India in 1984, the Indian government is using local and student Hindus to gaslight the Sikh community.

Police sources told DESIBUZZCanada that they are looking into any connections to the Indian government of inciting the violent conflict that occurred in Surrey and Brampton Sunday.

Surrey RCMP said violence broke out between groups and three persons were arrested. No individuals or police officers were injured. The crowd dispersed within the hour following the arrests.

The suspects were all released from police custody while investigators from Surrey RCMP's General Investigation Unit complete their investigation.
