Harnarayan Singh Does Community Proud By Accomplishing Personal Dream Of Doing English Language Hockey Night In Canada
Harnarayan Singh, a long time play-by-play man on Hockey Night In Canada Punjabi, achieved a person milestone and made the community proud by doing the English language Hockey Night in Canada recently, truly a huge accomplishment but a sign of the times in Canada.
Singh has been part of the Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi since 2008.
By calling the recent Oilers Vs. Canucks game, Singh acknowledged that it was his childhood dream which has come true as he continues to break down barriers to pave the way for young Sikhs.
“As Canadian Sikhs we love our hockey and now Harnarayan will be the voice to bring our national sport in our homes,” said the World Sikh Organization of Canada in congratulating Singh on his accomplishment.

Sikh-American Varinder Singh Becomes The First Turbaned Special FBI Agent
Sikh-American Varinder Singh has become the first turbaned Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent, proudly serving as a Special Agent in the domestic law enforcement agency. He has paved the way for other Sikh youngsters to join FBI and other national security positions donning their turbans and beards.
Varinder Singh, who appeared on CNBC's 'American Greed' on 13 January to talk about the criminals he takes down, is a source of motivation and inspiration for the budding young minds of the Sikh community across the globe.
