Punjabi Pop Star Guru Randhawa Got “wacked” At Vancouver Show

Police and Ambulance were called and attended to the aftermath but it is not known who struck Randhawa. According to witnesses, the attacker was an unidentified man hit the singer on the head as he was leaving Queen Elizabeth Theatre after his show.
VANCOUVER – The Vancouver stop of Punjabi pop star Guru Randhawa’s High Rated Tour Sunday night was not only marred by tour co-star Jasmin Sandlas no-show but the Punjabi singer of Suit and other hits got a rude awakening as he finished the concert at Queen Elizabeth theatre in Vancouver when someone took a hard hit to his head, leaving him bruised.
Police and Ambulance were called and attended to the aftermath but it is not known who struck Randhawa. According to witnesses, the attacker was an unidentified man hit the singer on the head as he was leaving Queen Elizabeth Theatre after his show.
Guru had been posting about this show on his social media. He had posted a video on his Facebook page before the Vancouver show.
Full name, Gursharanjot Singh Randhawa, Guru as he’s come to be known to his fans is an singer, songwriter and music composer associated with Punjabi, bhangra, Indi-pop and Bollywood music.
Randhawa is known for songs like ‘Lahore’, ‘Patola’, ‘High Rated Gabru’, ‘Daaru Wargi’, ‘Raat Kamal Hai’, ‘Suit’, ‘Ban Ja Rani’, ‘Made in India’, ‘Downtown’ and ‘Slowly Slowly’.
The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is one of Vancouver’s largest music venues, featuring 2,765 seats with a central location in downtown Vancouver.
