June 23 was the last day of Punjabi school classes at India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas, #5 Road, Richmond. The students were given prizes including certificates, goodie bags and a few other items by Gurdwara's Chairperson Kashmir Kaur Johal. It was a very enjoyable occasion for students, their parents, teachers and helpers. Thereafter, the students recited some very melodious Shabads for the congregation. On behalf of the Gurdwara management committee, secretary Balwant Sanghera thanked everyone for a very successful completion of the Punjabi School for this year. Sanghera informed them that the Punjabi School will commence again on September 8 and invited all of them back in September.
