The local power-lifting world is in mourning at the sudden demise of well known Power-lifter Sony Binning, who passed away last weekend. Fellow power-lifter Sammy Toora remembers Binning as a friend and a great sportsman. Binning, who was from Phagwara (Punjab), competed at British Columbia (Canada) Power-lifting in 2002. “I still can't believe you are gone so soon Sony. You will always be missed,” Toora said.
