Conservative front-runner for the leadership race Pierre Pollivere made tracks into Brampton’s influential business community get together which was hosted by Yadwinder Dhaliwal of Roadlinkxpress trucking company and was also attended by Dr. Shashpal Sandhu, a dentist and businessman based in Brampton. Pollivere took time to answers questions on the economy and immigration issues. On the issue of crime, he said if he’s elected his government would bring in longer terms for criminals Pollivere called PM Justin Trudeau bankrupt and that’s why he’s trying to get maximum taxes. He also accused the Trudeau government of trying to force all truckers to be considered as employees. “I will not let that happen,” he said. Brampton mayor Patrick Brown, who was forced out of the race by the party over breaking rules, had accused Pollivere of being behind his ouster and vowed his supporters will back Jean Charet to make sure Pollivere doesn’t win.
