One Person Dead Following Surrey Residential Fire

One person was found dead following a residential fire in Surrey. Surrey RCMP is assisting Surrey Fire Service following the fatal residential fire in the 8400 block of 121a Street. The BC Coroners Service attended the scene and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

SURREY – One person was found dead following a residential fire in Surrey.
Surrey RCMP is assisting Surrey Fire Service following the fatal residential fire in the 8400 block of 121a Street.
On March 13, 2024 at 5:30 pm, Surrey RCMP received a report of a recreation trailer fire. Police arrived on scene as the Surrey Fire Service had extinguished the fire and a body was located in the burned trailer.
Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit (GIU) continues to work closely with the Surrey Fire Inspector, as the cause of the fire is still yet to be determined.
The BC Coroners Service attended the scene and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
