Missing South Asian Man In Need Of Medication Located

Seventy-nine-year-old Dara Mistry was last seen at 9:30 a.m. Thursday when he left his home in the 1000 block of Victoria Drive. But Vancouver police said Friday morning that Mistry located and returned home safe.
VANCOUVER – Police are searching for an elderly South Asian man who suffers from Dementia and Diabetes and is need of his medication.But Vancouver police said Friday morning that Mistry located and returned home safe.
Seventy-nine-year-old Dara Mistry was last seen at 9:30 a.m. when he left his home in the 1000 block of Victoria Drive.
He may have been spotted around 6 p.m. in the Main and Hastings Street area.
Mistry is South Asian, 5'2" tall, has a medium build, short grey hair and a moustache. He was wearing a striped white, blue and maroon t-shirt, blue jeans, grey shoes and a blue baseball hat. Mr. Mistry uses a black four wheeled walker and may appear confused.
Anyone who sees Dara Mistry is asked to call 9-1-1.
