SURREY – People of Kerala are going through some very rough times after the worst flood crisis in the Indian State for over 100 years and with hundreds of lives lost, billions of dollars in damages and the state at an absolute stand still. But Indians in India and abroad are coming together to help their countrymen in need .

Musician-singer Shankar Mahadevan, who will be in Vancouver on Labour Day weekend with his band mates Ehsaan, Loy and actor-director-writer-singer Farhan, made an impassioned plea to all on Social Media to help the needy right away.
