From November 19-25: Over 60% Sold Out From “Friends of Hopscotch“ Pre-Sale.

VANCOUVER  – Between November 19th – 25th, Vancouver will play host to the 23rd Annual Hopscotch Festival. With over 20 events during the week, including The Grand Tasting Hall, pairing dinners and master classes, there is a tasting for everyone!

Known as one of the world’s best tasting festivals (MSN Travel) and as a landmark event in the Lower Mainland, this festival of libations will welcome over 7,500 people through its doors. For those looking for quiet intimate tastings to those looking for large scale, thousands-in-attendance events, Hopscotch offers a diverse landscape of tasting alcoholic products. Showcased this year will be Scotch, Japanese, American and other international whiskies, BC and international craft and premium beers, ciders, wines, spirits (including tequila, gin, rums, etc.), cocktails and food! The Grand Tasting Hall, the anchor event of the festival, takes place on November 23rd and 24th at the PNE Forum.

New this year at the Grand Tasting Hall includes a tasting roster like never before. The quality and selection of products to taste is better than any year prior. Cigars from across the world will be available to enjoy, live music will be played all night, as well as a revamped ambience and revised floor plan. The “Friends of Hopscotch” is the Hopscotch Festival fan club and are quite the loyal bunch; their purchases have already sold out many of the week’s events as well as over 60% of the Grand Tasting Hall tickets, and this is before they went on sale to the General Pubic on October 9th.

What to watch for:

Grand Tasting Hall (November 23-24)

A festival of libations, this year’s signature event will feature a mix of craft and premium beers, spirits from around the globe, coveted Scotches and whiskies, as well as a selection of wines and spectacular food. Local musical entertainment in the new music lounge as well as a pop-up onsite liquor store from High Point can be expected, too.

Wine Garden

Last year the festival launched an area within the tasting hall to showcase wine. Due to the immensely positive feedback from this activation, the wine garden will be back to showcase international and local wines.

BC Craft Beer Pavilion

For the thousands who attend to taste and learn about the best and most delicious brews, The BC Craft Beer pavilion will specialize in beers manufactured in BC, by breweries not owned by international conglomerates.

Restaurant Row

Hopscotch will feature top chefs and restaurants from across the city. Each year Restaurant Row attracts some of the best restaurants from within Vancouver. This year will be no different.

Onsite Liquor Store

Some products are hard to find and some of Hopscotch’s featured liquors are very, very rare. Guests will be able to swing by the onsite High Point pop-up store and stock-up on the essentials.

Bringing Back “The Connoisseur Booklet”

Back this year will be the Connoisseur Booklet, the Hopscotch Festival program guide. Each guest will be given this road map to the Grand Tasting Hall which will include a listing of each and every product, as well tasting notes to go alongside them.

Grand Tasting Hall Tickets are available for $34. Tickets are available now at: http://tickets.hopscotchfestival.com
