Early indications are that the male victim had been pursued by two men at the time of the shooting. The parties involved in the shooting are believed to be known to one another and associated to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict. The investigation is ongoing as officers seek to identify all parties involved. However,  no names or identity of the shooters and the victim were given but the conflict has a lot of Indo-Canadians-South Asians involved.
