Miss Pooja Headlined The Punjabi Portion Of The Musical Festival!

Over 75,000 people attended Surrey's 18th annual Surrey Fusion Festival, according to the City as yet again Holland Park was transformed into the ultimate celebration of music, food, and culture this past weekend. This year's theme was Flavours of the World with over 50 cultural pavilions representing countries from six continents. The festival was headlined by international reggae stars Easy Star All-Stars on July 19, and South Asian music icon Miss Pooja alongside Geeta Zaildar on July 20. The crowd received a special surprise when Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga joined Miss Pooja during her performance. The duo previously performed at the Let's Hear It BC JUNOS Plaza Party earlier this year, an event also produced by the City of Surrey.

SURREY– Over 75,000 people attended Surrey's 18th annual Surrey Fusion Festival, according to the City as yet again Holland Park was transformed into the ultimate celebration of music, food, and culture this past weekend. 

This year's theme was Flavours of the World with over 50 cultural pavilions representing countries from six continents. 

The festival was headlined by international reggae stars Easy Star All-Stars on July 19, and South Asian music icon Miss Pooja alongside Geeta Zaildar on July 20. The crowd received a special surprise when Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga joined Miss Pooja during her performance. The duo previously performed at the Let's Hear It BC JUNOS Plaza Party earlier this year, an event also produced by the City of Surrey.

"From world-class performances to incredible food and cultural experiences, this festival brings people together in a truly meaningful way. This year's event featured over 50 cultural pavilions, each organized and hosted by local community groups. These pavilions showcased authentic cuisine, traditional art, and cultural education, offering attendees the opportunity to experience cultures from around the world—right in the heart of Surrey. The festival also offered free live music and performances across eight stages, from international talent to local artists. Additional highlights included an Indigenous Village and Marketplace, Family Zone, cooking demonstrations, dance battles and a Backyard Homes Showcase, where visitors explored prefabricated, fully furnished backyard homes and learned about innovative housing options in Surrey.
