Surrey-based Mann brothers, who are patrons of everything music and collectors of music machines and recordings dating back more than a century, brought their vast catalogue of rare music devices and memorabilia for a much-liked exhibition at the Taj Park Convention Centre on recently that brought out music lovers, artists and community members to see how music production, distribution and reception has changed over the decades and last century since music technology was invented to disseminate the most popular of the arts forms that still delight billions of ears and souls around the world. Well known Punjabi arts, culture and music historian Ashok Bansal also made an appearance, having just arrived from Punjab, India. Bansal has written numerous books on history of Punjabi music, poetry and the arts including the famous Mitti Na Farol Jogia. Congrats again to Ramanjit Singh Mann and his brother for putting on a great display for music lovers in the memory of their late father Sardar Mukeshwar Singh Mann.
