Jaise Gati Vaise Mati is a popular saying in India. It means that your mind will work the way your destiny is. That is why the wise and the enlightened said: Don’t judge others. They never explained why not Judge others. The reason you don’t judge others is that each one of us is on a path mostly etched in stone. Our present life is mostly determined by our Karmas in our previous lives. So, an individual will act according to his destiny. And we wonder how an intelligent and rational person like a particular person we know will do such a thing?

I would like to give here an example of bumbling and fumbling US President Donald Trump as we all know him.

For the life of me, I will not understand why Trump took the approach he took towards Coronavirus; why he reacted the way he did to the virus. When the country needed to come together, Trump remained a deeply divisive President.

Coronavirus could have been good for him. It is like the USA is at war. The only thing is that the war is against Coronavirus. He could have garnered the sympathy of the whole country and gotten America behind him by taking the same approach as Joe Biden, science and all the doctors did.

Instead of denying and downplaying the deadly infectious disease, he should have united the country behind him in a fight against the Coronavirus and come up with a cohesive national plan to deal with it. What was wrong for him to tell Americans to take precautions? Instead of playing a macho man, what was so wrong for him to wear a mask so the masses can take a cue from him.

Seriously, think about it. First, he hid it from the Americans. When America found out about the virus and that the President knew about it for quite some time and did nothing, his natural defense was it is nothing.

He still does not understand that by declaring Coronavirus “the enemy” and telling Americans to do whatever it takes to defeat this enemy, he would have been guaranteed the second term. What was so wrong in telling the people to wear masks and keep a social distance?

But your mind works the way your destiny is.

The only way I can explain this kind of behavior is because he is destined to lose the 2020 elections so his mind is working the way his destiny is. Jaise Gati Vaise Mati.

It is not the Coronavirus; it is his reaction to the Coronavirus that will make him lose the upcoming elections which he was destined to lose. Otherwise how else you can explain such bizarre behavior against a virus.

My heart goes out to those 500 plus children who Trump separated them from their parents and till today they cannot find their parents to unite them. I can only imagine the pain, the anguish and the trauma the children are going through.

Supposedly Trump has made 125,000 false claims. Most of the news media does not want to get sued, so they use the word “lie” rarely. Trump knows that the masses make decisions emotionally and have no time for fact-checking. It is said that the bigger the lie, the more the masses believe in it. This is not the election of him. This is the election of Americans and their character as the president is a reflection of the people. The world can forgive Americans for choosing the wrong President one time, but twice?

Just his rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious behavior should be enough for an intelligent, educated, and clear-headed American not to wish to see him for the next four years. Even that behavior is so irrational that the only explanation is that he is acting that way because he is destined to lose the elections.

There is another saying in India: “Aah Bahl Mujhe Maar” meaning inciting a Bull to attack you. The constant criticism of Barack Obama is so meaningless and dangerous for Trump. No President has ever done it. Look what happened. Trump forced Obama to come out of retirement with guns blasting.

Trump is destined to be a one-term President. He could’ve united the country behind him cuz of Coronavirus but he chose not to because he is destined to lose the elections. My two cents.
