While Desis In The Diaspora sounds like a strange title that seemed to be focused largely on Canadian Sikhs  the Canadian South Asian youth arts exhibition was held at the Historic Abbotsford Sikh temple (now a Canadian Heritage designated site) on Sunday afternoon. It also featured an exhibit by Jagdeep Singh Raina (MFA), who also spoke at the event attended by Indo-Canadian community members and politicians like Delta MLA Ravi Kahlon. The keynote address was given by Buncy Pagely in the legacy of her father Sardar Mahinder Singh Beadall.
