Deep Sahni: “insane Dholi’s” Passing A Great Loss To Local Punjabi Music Community
OBITUARY – Hardip Singh (Deep) Sahni
Funeral services for Deep will take place at Riverside Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 04, 2018 at 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta, BC. The prayers will take place at Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Gurudwara Sahib, 7271 Gilley, Burnaby, BC at 4:00pm.
It is with great sadness the Sahni family announce the passing of 38 years old Hardip Singh (Deep) Sahni of Vancouver who suddenly passed away and left us on July 28.
Deep Sahni also known as "Insane Dholi", was son of well known community members Mr. Harjinder Singh Sahni and Mrs. Gurbaksh Kaur Sahni. Deep was very talented musician and artist who played dholis at various functions. His loss is a huge blow to the local Punjabi music community.
