Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, aka Daddy Cool, and his wife Gurkiran Kaur Sidhu are having a baby, the federal NDP leader announced Thursday on instagram. On the same day news broke of a highly-anticipated federal election in September, the 42-year-old announced he is soon going to be a dad. The Burnaby South MP and Sidhu posted photos on social media on Thursday to announce their pregnancy. “We are having a baby!!!!” wrote Singh in an Instagram post — written, like all his posts, in both English and French — adding he and Sidhu “are so excited for this new adventure.”
