According to police, at approximately 10:24 PM on Saturday, April 16, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a shots fired in the 16000 block of 93 Avenue. DESIBUZZbc founder and senior journalist R. Paul Dhillon passed by the area heading home on 160 and witnessed the police in action after attending the Kishore Kumar musical evening at the old Bear Creek hall. “There were three or four cars blocking the area on 93rd but I couldn’t see much else as I drove by,” Dhillon DESIBUZZbc.The initial investigation has revealed that a light coloured SUV was seen fleeing from the scene shortly afterwards the incident.

SURREY – Surrey RCMP were on scene at a residence in the 16000 block of 93 Avenue area of Surrey after report of shots fired Saturday night.

DESIBUZZbc founder and senior journalist R. Paul Dhillon passed by the area heading home on 160 and witnessed the police in action after attending the Kishore Kumar musical evening at the old Bear Creek hall.

“There were three or four cars blocking the area on 93rd but I couldn’t see much else as I drove by,” Dhillon DESIBUZZbc.

“It’s disturbing that shootings are happening all over Surrey and no neighbourhood seems to be safe. But RCMP is doing their best and they have to get to the core of the problem and find out exactly who is behind this ongoing violence.”

According to police, at approximately 10:24 PM on Saturday, April 16, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a shots fired in the 16000 block of 93 Avenue.

Officers attended and located evidence to support that shots had been fired in the area. No one was injured in the incident.

The initial investigation has revealed that a light coloured SUV was seen fleeing from the scene shortly afterwards the incident.

Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages.

Police said unless there is a significant development on this investigation there will no further updates until Monday before noon.
