Another shooting in Surrey sent one person to the hospital with injuries. Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an overnight shots fired incident at a Surrey residence on Sunday night but police said they can’t confirm at this time whether it’s extortion related.

SURREY – Another shooting in Surrey sent one person to the hospital with injuries.
Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an overnight shots fired incident at a Surrey residence on Sunday night but police said they can’t confirm at this time whether it’s extortion related.
At about 9:11 pm on November 23, SPS officers responded to calls of possible shots fired outside a residence located in the 12100 block 101B Avenue, Surrey. SPS officers arrived and one person, an adult woman, inside who had been injured. She was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Several other people were inside at the time and there were no other injuries.

Officers will be on scene throughout the day to examine the area for physical and digital evidence. At this early stage the motive for the shots fired remains under investigation and investigators will be liaising with police partners to determine if there are any connections to other files. There have been no extortion-related links made at this time.
Anyone with information about this incident, or anyone who may have been in the area of 12100 block 101B Avenue between 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm on November 23, 2025, and witnessed the shots fired or suspicious activity, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to contact the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 25-103720 (SP).
