A Surrey woman is dead after being found with life threatening injuries at a home in the Port-Kells neighbourhood Sunday evening. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has deployed to investigate the murder of the woman who is not named yet. Police sais on June 16 at approximately 10:00 pm, Surrey RCMP were called to a report of a woman with life-threatening injuries inside a residence near 9800-block of 182A Street, in Surrey, BC. The woman was transported to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

SURREY – A Surrey woman is dead after being found with life threatening injuries at a home in the Port-Kells neighbourhood Sunday evening.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has deployed to investigate the murder of the woman who is not named yet.

Police sais on June 16 at approximately 10:00 pm, Surrey RCMP were called to a report of a woman with life-threatening injuries inside a residence near 9800-block of 182A Street, in Surrey, BC.

With assistance from the Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service (PDS), members of the Surrey RCMP quickly located and arrested a man near the area.

The woman was transported to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) was called and will be working in partnership with
